I am a multidisciplinary artist creating paintings and sculptures from human research of the natural world. My work considers relationships between the individual and natural environment. The work investigates concerns in the natural world, while also questioning the terms under which trees, wildlife and ecosystems are forced to adapt to survive its changing environment as a result of human destruction.
For me, body and soil connect as one while the wilderness serves as a spiritual tonic. Nature holds much hope for our world, however it is becoming a lost wilderness. We must begin paying attention to that which is being destroyed or humanity will not survive.
